Over the weekend, we published our Core Rhythms Review. It is the first part in what will hopefully be a long series on the Workout DVDs being sold today.
Below, we’ve complied a bunch of Core Rhythms reviews and testimonials so you can see if Core Rhythms is right for you. The actual text of each review is real, but we cannot account for the legitimacy of the person who wrote it. Either way, there are enough reviews here to give you a good idea of what people are saying about Core Rhythms. The majority of these reviews come from shopping websites and review websites.

The full workout is difficult to follow if you just throw it in the first day. You need to use the Kick Start DVD to learn the basics. The Quick Workout is actually a good one to get comfortable with the moves. Then you move on to the full workout. There are DVD features that will show you the moves slowly. It just takes practice. It is much more fun than crunches and jumping jacks. May not be for everyone, but I enjoy it and am seeing results with it.

I just wanted to say that you do not have to be a dancer to do this workout. You also do not need to be a small girl. I started it 3 months ago needing to lose 90 pounds and so far I am down 28 pounds/ 3 sizes. The DVD does have an option of slowing down the moves to make it more easy to follow. In addition it is a fun workout if you are interested in dance.

I bought this product because it looked different. It is all about learning Latin Dance while exercising. It shows you how to do each move and shows you different views of how to do it. At first you are clumsy at performing the moves, but once you get into the groove of it, it comes more naturally. These videos kick your butt, and you most deffinitely feel it the next day. You will find muscles you did not know exsisted. It comes with 4 dvds. one is a instrcutional how to, one is a 20 minute workout, and one is a 45 minutes workout. Then the last one is a dvd on the actual dances. It also comes with a diet/food plan for you to go by. The only thing is that both the instructors are rail skinny and make you sick. After a few workouts you will feel more comfortable with the style. I have yet to get into the 45 minute workout, but I plan to. You will also need to have water at hand, wow I go through a lot of water when doing these dvds.

I bought it. But 2 months later, I’m dancing each and every single day. The music makes you want to dance, and Julia and Jaana are motivating, funny and not annoying as most of dvd trainers. Personaly, I prefer hearing a ‘’shake it baby’’ than counting to 4 constantly.The moves are easy, sexy, and fun, I surprise myself doing them everytime I hear music.
I’m hooked, and my mid-section proves it. Lot tighter belly, more defined waist line, and I had to buy smaller clothes. Each and every penny I’ve spent for the kit was worth it. I highly recommend this program if you have, like me, a little tendency to give up fast, and are looking for a program that would keep you motivated.

This set is decently priced and somewhat innovative. I believe anyone can do the workouts if they just stick with them and I believe that your core will feel it. If you like Latin inspired workouts, this one may be for you. I do get a little bored with the repetitions but I also feel the work in my abs and that’s what counts. I am going with 4 stars. I personally enjoy Hip Hop Abs more but it isn’t the workout, it’s just the style of the instructor and the “fun factor”. Core Rhythms is definitely a high energy, belly fat burning workout set. You also get a little pamphlet with a suggested diet but I don’t follow diets that come with workouts. You may like the suggestions.
It’s fun but really fast paced. I like the long workout better I think because it gives you little breaks in between to march and slow down. I lost 2.5 inches off my waist in a couple of months doing this and Hip Hop Abs so I’m not complaining!
Pros – effective, better than crunches, targets the core constantly, get help at any point during the workout, choice of views, 4 DVDs, short and long workouts
Cons – very fast paced, music isn’t great, gets really fast paced at times, not dance, exercise, can get repetitious, some high impact moves

I tried the Core Rhythms program the same day that it arrived. I really liked the program, it had a mix of Latin dances that are really fun to do. I really enjoyed the dance techniques, they are structured in a way that really works all your muscles in a way that doesn’t hurt you. I tend to have a lot of energy, but I felt like I had really worked out by the end of the workout. I have only been doing the program for a week now and it is almost time for me to go buy a smaller size of pants, I am highly impressed with the Core Rhythms program!

I have to say that these DVD’s are great. I am in Weight Watchers and was looking for a workout routine I could do during the winter months. I ordered the Core Rhythms Dance Exercise Program 7 DVD package. After ordering I had read several reviews that were negative about the DVD’s and the infomercial ordering, basically calling the company and the DVD’s a scam. I ordered my DVD’s in November 2008 and did not find this to be the case. The company was very professional and when I had a question about my order, I called the customer service number and spoke directly to a real person who was very helpful. I had also read that the DVD’s were a rip off because several were only a couple of minutes long. I also did not find that to be the case. The main DVD’s are great, I have not watched the extra workout DVD’s yet, but if they are shorter I feel that if they are combined with the full workout DVD’s you increase your success. I did, however, find the ordering process very frustrating. The automated system endlessly asks you if you want to purchase extra DVD’s or be signed up for other offers. Some of the reviews I read stated that people who purchased Core Rhythms had extra charges on their credit card and several of them admitted to not completing the automated ordering process. So my advice is to continue the ordering process until the automated rep. says goodbye. I did not have extra charges on my card. I sent an email to Core Rhythms letting them know that my frustration with their system almost made me change my mind in ordering their workout. All in all, that was my only beef with the company. I think the workouts are great. I have lost 35 ponds and I will update this review when these workouts help me reach my goal.

In a nut shell, the Core Rhythms method is exactly what the fitness market has been waiting for. Upbeat music, enthusiastic instructors, and enjoyable dance moves make this program a diamond in the rough. An added bonus to this program is that no expensive equipment is necessary in any of the workouts. Simply pop in the DVD, grab a bottle of water, and start dancing.

I love this workout! With the full workout (about 40 min) it goes by really fast and I’m sweating like crazy half way through. The quick workout (20 min) is really great if you don’t have a lot of time. There isn’t really any instruction, but at any time you can use the “help” and they will show you how to do the move and then it goes right back to the spot you were at. It did take me a couple of times before I was coordinated with it, but I don’t get bored of it and it’s fun!

This is one of my favorite exercise DVDs of all time – and I’ve tried pretty much every brand, type of exercise, and instructor on the market. I’m not coordinated by nature, and I agree the routines can be a bit intimidating at first – it took me at least a dozen viewings before I felt confident of my ability – but that’s one reason I loved the program. I like to be challenged and learn new things, so it’s incredibly satisfying to practice and improve. Now I have a blast working out, and I feel like I’ve learned some hot dance moves in the process. I look forward to working out every day, which is a FIRST for me. The instructors, Jaana and Julia, are outstanding – their enthusiasm is contagious, and the instruction is very helpful, particularly with the extra “Help” sections offered. Don’t be afraid of a fun challenge – if you are bored with the same old calisthenics and predictable routines, Core Rhythms is spectacular and so much fun!

This white chick can’t dance but I absolutely love these videos. I work out very day (which I never did before) and I have a lot of fun doing so. I get a good sweat on all of them (especially the Latin Cardio). Latin Cardio and the Ab workout are my favorites. No, I can’t get all the steps but that’s ok. That just gives me something to shoot for. Unlike regular exercise videos, at each work out I can work towards improving my moves which makes these far more interesting than the regular exercise videos. I also like the music. I don’t lock myself in a room, though. I just chase everyone away til I’m done (otherwise my family gets a good laugh!)

I have two left feet, and I can finally dance!! I find myself sweating even after the short workout. It’s a great, fun cardio workout. Definitely a keeper

This DVD is okay—however, the coordination required is a little above my level. From reading the description, I thought I could do it–so I am a little disappointed. Probably, I just am a “Dancing With the Stars” wannabe!

Thank you for the review. I have now made up my mind to get this on Friday, February 24, 2010! I have been doing Tybo for a year or so now, but I have only been able to firm up the bottom half of me. I need to work on my full body and I think this will do it to help me finish reaching my goal. I am really happy that I can make three payments too!
