Jump roping doesn't have to be that mundane exercise to do just cause you have a jump rope. You can switch up your training every day to get more intense. Your conditioning, strength, and speed will go through the roof. I mean, who better to talk about the subject of jump rope training than a conditioned boxer? So read that article and try it yourself for two weeks. If you can hang for that long, that is.

What is the piece of equipment that, for under 10 dollars, can give you all of the core strength you could ever ask for? If you guessed that thing to the left of this paragraph, the ab wheel, then you're right! You just won yourself some respect.

Now we all know that seeing your abs requires a lot of work and this simple piece of machinery alone cannot do it. Abs come from your diet: Losing fat, serious amounts of it, exposes your abs. Their definition not only comes from how much you work them out, but also how little your body fat percentage is.

Going back to core strength. The ab wheel rips and shreds almost every muscle you can possibly think of. Depending on where you position yourself, your arms to your calves and especially everything in the center will be put through its limits. Core strength equals stability. It's essential to many of standard lifts: Deadlift, squat, military press, etc. Core strength is also essential for any activity that involves moving your body like running, swimming, moving boxes, banging, etc.

Now when you search an ab machine, don't be fooled by immitations. All you need is a wheel with two handles on it. Don't waste your time and money on anything more complicated for worse results.
