You can&#039;t target any area for fat loss, although you can somewhat target a specific area for muscle gain. The goal to getting abs is to target train your abs with heavy ass exercises to build density, then lose fat over your whole body so they begin to show. Just don&#039;t go around eating Subway subs all day like Jared, hoping to get thin... if you do what Jared did you will get what Jared got... a skinny-fat mess of a body that only a grandmother could love.</description>
